Well, Rachel's 8th birthday was a lot of fun! This year we decided she would not have a birthday party, but choose a friend or two to go out to dinner with. She's been wanting to go to Cheeseburger in Paradise, so that's where we went. As soon as she got off the bus we lit 8 candles on a few of the leftover donuts I had brought to school that day. After that, Rachel went on a scavenger hunt that led her up the street to a neighbor's house where she found her birthday gift from mom and dad - a new bike!! We let her ride it around for a bit and then piled in the car to head to the restaurant. While we were waiting for the food, the girls and I took a tour of the restaurant (including the bathroom) and posed at several places for pictures. Enjoy!
